Natural environment features
Overview
We are currently drawing up proposals for a new development of up to 80 homes on land off Minsmere Road on the south-eastern outskirts of Bordesley.
Under our plans, a mix of housetypes is proposed to suit buyers in a wide range of circumstances, with 30% of the new properties to be provided as affordable homes, to be administered by a council-approved housing association for local people in housing need.
As well as providing an attractive and sustainable development of high-quality new homes, we believe the scheme will make a contribution towards meeting the wider housing supply requirements of Bordesley.
In order for local residents to find out more about our emerging proposals and provide us with their feedback we held a public exhibition, which took place as follows at Bordesley Masonic Hall on Monday 15th May 2017.
By coming along to our consultation, were able to view our emerging proposals, speak to experts from our project team, ask questions and provide us with their feedback on the scheme.

The comments we receive from local residents will help us to develop and refine our emerging plans before we finalise and submit a planning application to Bath and North East Somerset Council in due course.

We believe our proposals will carry wider benefits to the community of Bordesley beyond the provision of new homes.
These benefits include a number of financial contributions that will be made towards the local community as part of our proposed development, in agreement with the relevant local authorities.
These contributions will be in the form of a Section 106 Agreement, and the details will be released once finalised with the council.
